Woo! Today we’re anouncing the release of Shonen Knife’s new album POP TUNE out on Damnably in Europe from 6th June! The album will available on CD and digital download.
Featuring ten original songs, including ‘Osaka Rock City’, which has been selected as the theme song for the movie adaptation of Robin Nishi’s”Soul Train Flower” directed by Hiroshi Nishio and out in cinemas in Japan later this year! Ritsuko takes lead vocals on “Sunshine”, and Emi takes lead vocals on “Psychadelic Life”, this could well be their first full band masterpiece yet!

Damnably are very excited to announce the release of a ‘best-of’ compilation by one of our favourite bands, Wussy!
Especially for Europe, this remastered 17-track CD & Digital release titled Buckeye will feature a selection of highlights from their previous albums, and will be the band’s first official International release!
With their recent SXSW appearance this year, Wussy have been receiving due praise from four star reviews of their albums in Rolling Stone, to being proclaimed as the “best band in America!” by Dean of American Rock critics Robert Christgau, and we certainly believe that this release will bring them some much deserved attention here across the pond as well!
The album will be available for pre-order at our webshop, or in all good record shops from 9th July!
