COME are a seminal American band initially formed in Boston back in 1990. They were also linked to the ‘Oberlin’ scene that spawned fellow post rock/slow core legends Bitch Magnet and Codeine.
In 1992, COME released their debut album ’11:11′ on Matador Records. The album received critical acclaim from both the independent and mainstream press, and also from such rock luminaries as Dinosaur Jr.’s J. Mascis, Hüsker Dü’s Bob Mould, and Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain. They went on to release a further 3 further albums (via Matador, Domino, and the Beggars Banquetlabels ), they toured throughout US/Europe with Dinosaur Jr, The Breeders, Nirvana and Throwing Muses.
COME last played the UK 15 years ago in May 1998 at The Garage, London
Now to celebrate the 2013 reissue of the long out of print ’11:11′ (Matador/Glitterhouse) the band are to reform with original members: Thalia Zedek – Guitar/Vocals, Chris Brokaw – Guitar/Vocals, Arthur Johnson – Drums, and Sean O’Brien – Bass

Damnably favourites and having recently signed with Tim Burgess' O-Genesis label, this quartet are making waves and it's not difficult to hear why. Awesome crazed solo’s, pretty indiepop harmonies and killer distorto-pop tunes, their sunny punk songs and precious lullabies flash by in 60 seconds yet never leave your head.
East London based trio alternating between alt-folk and heavy post-punk concocted of subtle melodies, intricate guitar work and explosive drumming, they have previously shared stages with the likes of Shonen Knife, Bitch Magnet, Shannon Wright, Julie Doiron, Thalia Zedek, Chris Brokaw & Geoff Farina, Thee More Shallows, Swell, PW Long, Bellini and David Grubbs.
