Last Harbour are a seven piece collective from Manchester who play rustic, cinematically atmospheric songs that rattle and loom, at once epic and intimate, harsh and beautiful.
Lazarus Clamp do Post Punk as irascible as Shellac, they do Alt. Folk as pretty The Go Betweens, they do one gig a year and have been at it since 94' so go see them now!!!!!!
Wintergreen tougher than twee; their set is a barrage of C86 guitars, keyboards and toy loudhailers with a touch of Velvets drone"-Sounds XP
Muarena Helena was born out of a common love for organ drum beats and thrift store synths. A post rock three piece originally from Canada, they now reside in London where their sound has recently incorporated improvisational elements and the odd classical flair.
LoneLady are a Manchester two piece that was once a lone Lady whose music is imbued with 'ultra-lo-fi, atonal riffing and gnarled vocals'. Tony Wilson once described LoneLady as ‘a maniac'. So she is probably quite nice.
Former Utopia East London's answer to Smog, serious black humoured song writing, which he describes as 'anti anti-folk'. "Pretty and complex, melodic and intricate, fragile and full all at the same time" -Robots and Electric Brains.
